The Nonprofit Job Club meets the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. All meetings through May 2010 will be held at the Kauffman Conference Center at 4801 Rockhill Rd Kansas City, MO 64110. Free parking is available at the Kauffman Conference Center.

Do you know there are over 20 designations besides a 3? They can range from Black Lung Benefit Trusts 501 (c) 21 to Cemetery Companies 501 (C) 13. There are many similarities in staffing for many different types of nonprofits. We will discuss the world of association management which comprises many of these different IRS designations and look at many samples of staff structures, how they compare to charities and where to begin researching job openings.
