Annual Conference

Thank you for your interest in the Nonprofit Solutions Conference, formerly the Philanthropy Midwest Conference. Nonprofit Connect will not be hosting a traditional conference in 2016. Instead, we're offering a deconstructed conference- a menu of programs that provide the same rich content, national speakers and networking opportunities, while giving our members better value for their dollar.

Like a keynote speaker, our 501(c) Success National Speaker Series brings prominent thought leaders to Kansas City to discuss the latest sector research and trends. This series is an outstanding opportunity for the Kansas City community to meet and engage with exceptional nonprofit leaders right here in our own backyard.

Nonprofit Connect has ramped up our workshop programming featuring partnerships with local and national organizations like Association of Fundraising Professionals and Access Philanthropy. We have increased our focus on senior leadership with innovative programs like Executive Director Institute and Building a High Impact Board workshop, and also added a Volunteer Management Institute emeriti program for volunteer managers. To continue to serve the local student groups that often attend the conference, Nonprofit Connect will partner with Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Kansas City to again offer Shadow Day in Fall 2016. This event matches college students interested in the sector with local nonprofit professionals for a day of learning and networking.

And we are still offering the Philly Awards, our signature fall event that celebrates outstanding achievements in nonprofit communications and marketing. Now its own event separate from the traditional conference, the Philly Awards are better than ever! Click here for more information on the Philly Awards.

We hope that these enhanced programs will more than meet our members' need for national perspective, innovative ideas and new connections, all while saving you time and expense. If you have questions about any of our programming, please contact us.
